50 år

Min fetters mann  fyller 50 år, og i den forbindelse har jeg laget dette kortet-

Bazill i bunnen, dekorert med Tim Holz swirlstempel rundt alle kanter på hele kortet; mønsterark fra K & Company, med et par biter fra Beethovens 5 symfoni stikkende frem under første siden, og rullet rundt en charm over ei fjær. Oppå mønsterarket har jeg en bitte liten heklebrikke (loppefunn), samt en bit med bølgepapp som jeg har tatt et strøk med gesso på før barndomsbildet av jubilanten, som er rufset og svertet med Tim Holz' vintage photo. Et par gamle frimerker fra min manns tidligere samling, gratulerer stempel fra Kreativ Hobby (?), diverse blomster fra Prima (++) og til slutt navn printet fra Word, og stanset ut.

Innsiden rakk jeg ikke å fotografere, men jeg brukte også der samme mønsterpapir fra K&Company; rufset i kanten og svertet med Vintage Photo.

Bow and Calla !

Jeg begynte å lage invitasjonskort til konfirmasjon i helgen, og fikk gjort ganske så meget, men slikt kan man jo ikke legge ut før de sendes av gårde, så da lagde jeg dette :

Just a card I made in about 20 minutes last evening; black Bazzill, printed paper from Clairefontaine. The bow was made by satin ribbon from Panduro; the motive stamp comes from Crafty Individuals, text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad, and the beautiful Calla I bought in Marseille a few weeks ago.

This is my favourite flower of all, and I was soo happy to find this beautiful peace of art in a hobby store in a shopping mall in Marseille ! Here is a close up of my bow also, so easy to make, but still looking good :-)
The inside is pretty much like the front; same patterned paper, but with a 3 inch circle punched out paper with punch from Paper Shapers.

The 'KLEM' (=hug) stamp is from Kreativ Hobby (I think..) The bow on the right hand side, is actually a piece lost from a high heeled shoe ! This is my way of returning it to the owner :-)

Springtime !

Doesn't this card remind you of spring ?

I have two layers of Bazzill, and a bright butterfly and flowery patterned paper from Clover, which I like so much I have used it on three sides of this card ! A silk light grey BOW and a green BUTTON being the centre of my home made flower, and some purple pearls spread around. The Sarah Kay stamp has been coloured by my daughter, thus do not recognize all the colours, however the shadowing is Buttercup, the green flower is Grass, the hair is Yellow + smth, the lilac is Mulberry (some of it). I have also used a highliter a few spots here and there, and the borders I have decorated with dabber.  

Here's a close up of my flower with the green button.

The left side inside the card. The paper is lovely as it is, so added only a lace.

I have used a border punch on all sides here, on the card where I can write a greeting, and added three purple pearls again.

Finally, the backside of the card. I will add my 'handmade by..' stamp later on :-)

Another vintage card

Et kort laget til en 71-åring; et transparent noteark i bunnen, et mønsterark deretter, etterfulgt av en liten del av en gammel bokside. Litt bølgepapp, et par frimerker, masse gammeldags blonde + blomster.

Med dette kortet deltar jeg hos Sukkersøtt, som vil ha et stempelfritt produkt.

Bakgrunn

Igjen en egen bakgrunn, lagd med 'kredittkortteknikk'. En dash med gesso og en dash med gel, pluss noen dråper av to forskjellige blå distress refillere; ta kredittkort og løft over og gni og fordel det over akvarellark; og vips ! Her har jeg ikke gjort noe mer enn å stemple en tekst fra to hjørner; er litt usikker på om det egentlig er nødvendig med mer her ?  Blomst og bånd blir kanskje bare forstyrrende ?

Passion for ProMarkers + One Stop Craft challenges

Here is my card for the One stop craft challenge (no 67) made after a given sketch and for the Passion for Promarker challenge (no 38) asking for the colours Agean, Sky Blue & Cool Aqua.

 

This is the sketch. As you can see. I have made some minor alterations. On my white Bazill, I have used patterned paper from Sarah Milne of scenic route paper. The small flowers come from Søstrene Greene, and the blue riboon is from Panduro, where I also bought the silkribbon for the bow.

The stamp is from Whiff of Joy, and the dress has been coloured with AEGEAN, SKY BLUE and COOL AQUA. In addition, the following colours have been used: blush, dusky pink, primrose, lemon, grass, poppy, ice grey 1, amethyst and mulberry.

Here is a pic of the inside of the card; I have printed a poem which I will put on the left hand side. As you can see, there is room for a personal greeting on the right.

Valentine

This card is actually made of freebies (most) from the cutting cafe, both the patterned paper and also the beautiful vintage photo. This pattern came in a lot of various colours, but for Valentine, my preference just had to be red ! The slim ribbon framing this card is an old one as is also the bow, but I think they go perfectly well together, don't you ? A little bling both on the front, and also inside the card, as well as a flower from the patterned paper collection.

I am participating with this card in the contest held by the cutting cafe using this patterned paper.

I am also entering my card at the Pile it on challenge, asking for layers, same as Kort'o'Mania.

For the Everybody art challenge, the theme is Valentine, which is of course quite appropriate this week !

Scrappekammeret har som tema noe eller noen du er glad i; og jeg er faktisk veldig glad i engler. Julen hos meg er fyllt opp med engler, mens nissene forsvinner en etter en... På Valentinsdagen syns jeg denne engelen absolutt hører hjemme også :-)

Vintage

Another card I made some time ago; just thought I'd publish here now..

This vintage card was made for my daughters classmates father, celebrating 50 years. Stamp = Crafty Individuals.

Creative background

As I promised yesterday; here is one of the cards I made at the workshop yesterday:

I have used gesso, and then sprayed a few drops of Distress Water Refills mixed with water on to a rubber plate, and rubbed the cardbox (white) paper in this mix. Thereafter I stamped the entire sheet with a textstamp and one swirl stamp (think both are of Tim Holz'). The vintage photo was glued and framed first with gel, then after having dried up a bit, with colour (like a creamy colour with 7/8 different colours in it, no name..).  As you probably can see, I also rubbed all edges with some  colour, to frame the entire sheet in.

Very simple tecnique, and I like it so much ! It's fun :-)

Ingrid

This card is made to a former business associate, who I am visiting tomorrow. The gorjuss girl was coloured with ProMarker at the same workshop as my last post; last week, and the rest of this card is actually made of leftovers from previous caards ! Kind of like a mozaik card, framed with darker blue Bazill than the main card itself. In addition, I have used some old ribbon (received from my mother), a few flowers and a butterfly.
